Based on the Aeinedar-e Douran Project, a group of artists from the "Amida" illustration group, with the coordination of the director and executive secretary of the Aeinedar-e Douran Project with the Kerman Center and Kerman Governorate, and the meetings that were formed by the efforts of Professor Bastani's son and his fans, got acquainted with his thoughts and works and then, under the supervision of some of the country's art professors, they were able to depict the works that were introduced to them from the collection of Professor Bastani Parizi’s writings, with their personal impression. Part of these works were purchased by the National Copper Company of the country and finally donated to the University of Tehran in 2017 and 24 paintings and works were donated to Negarestan Garden Museum.

Professor Mohammad Ebrahim Bastani Parizi (nicknamed as Bastani) was born on the 24th of December 1925 in Pariz, in Sirjan County, Kerman Province. In 1931, he studied at Sheikh Mohammad Hasan Zeid Abadi Pariz’ school for primary education. In 1941, he continued his studies at Kerman Preparatory College, and after receiving his diploma in 1946, he came to Tehran to continue his studies, and in 1947, he continued his studies at Tehran University in the field of history.

He graduated from Tehran University in 1951 and returned to Kerman to fulfill his commitment as a teacher and was a teacher and principal of Bahmanyar Girls' High School in Kerman until 1958. After that, he returned to Tehran once again to study for a doctorate in history and received his doctorate by presenting a thesis about Ibn Athir.

He started his career at Tehran University in 1959 by managing the internal magazine of the Faculty of Literature and was a full-time professor of that university until 2008 and had a close relationship with this university. In 2013, Professor Bastani Parizi was elected as an honorary member of the Academy of Sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This historian, author and researcher, poet, musicologist has authored and translated more than 60 books; he was a tasteful writer and a capable poet and satirist, an outstanding writer and cultural scholar, and a great historian, who had unique skill in presenting social historiography. Finally, Professor Bastani Parizi passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014.

Aeinedar-e Douran Project tries to introduce this elevated figure by showing the illustration of different artists with a creative perception of the Professor Bastani Parizi and his lasting works and books.
